Pre-Sting opportunities
Sting Startup Academy
Take the very first step on your entrepreneurial journey with Sting Startup Academy: an online, self-paced course designed to take your idea to the next level.
A free, online course, designed to help you explore an idea within a real-world startup context.
It will take you approximately 4-5 hours to complete the course.
Aspiring entrepreneurs.
Academy will give you a solid foundation, providing tools, techniques, and the expertise you're going to need to bring your concept to reality.

Open Coaching
Want to get feedback on your idea, test your pitch or discuss how to solve a challenge? Sign up for a free 20-minute open coaching session.
A free 20-minute session with a Sting startup coach now for advice on how to move forward on your journey.
If you're seeking to get feedback on your startup pitch, ask for advice on how to approach a specific challenge, and learn how Sting could help you grow faster (and smarter), then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Test Drive
Test your idea throughout an intensive workshop series designed for teams that are just getting started. Each Test Drive usually has a theme, meaning that we bring entrepreneurs and expert coaches in a specific area together, such as ClimateTech, HealthTech or DeepTech.
Four evening workshops run by Sting’s coaches combined with individual coaching and peer support.
Teams with a scalable, early stage idea. We prefer mixed-gender teams of two to three people.
We run one to three Test Drives every year. Keep an eye on our website for the next program.

Yes, it is definitely possible to be part of our program even if you have already raised money. Companies often have angel investors onboard before joining Sting.
Startups that could be competitors will never be accepted and part of Sting at the same time. However, once a startup has left us and become alumni, after six months we could accept and work with another company that has a similar business idea.
For companies where technology is the core of their business, it is crucial to have their tech in-house. On the other hand, for companies where technology is a means to solve a problem, outsourcing software development can be an option to extend their capacity, although it carries some risks.
We do our best to get back to you as soon as possible, however it depends on the availability of the coaches. Also keep in mind that late applications are often coming in during holiday periods, which may slow down the response time even more. But please be patient, we will email you as soon as your application has been reviewed.
If you submit an application after the deadline, your application is automatically tagged as “late”. You will still get evaluated based on your merits, but late applications are generally competing for fewer slots, which means it will get harder to get accepted the later you apply. It will also take longer for us to get back to you, as the process is already ongoing.
Late applications are those submitted after the application deadlines (typically June-Sept or Dec-Jan).
