Are there other benefits to having Propel Capital as a financier, in addition to the investment itself?

The purpose of Propel Capital is to connect Sweden’s best angel investors with our startups. Via the investment, we activate our angel investors to make direct investments into the company – adding both capital and experience.

Some of the investors in Propel Capital (‘SIA angels’) have co-investment agreements with Saminvest. This means that a direct investment in a Propel Capital company by an SIA angel is matched by Saminvest with an equal amount.

Turbine Capital is a dedicated DeepTech fund, investing larger amounts (5–10 MSEK) into startups with significant technical complexity and longer R&D timelines. Startups may be eligible for one or both, depending on their focus

What is Turbine Capital?

Turbine Capital is an early-stage VC fund focused on DeepTech startups, co-founded and built by Sting. It invests in breakthrough technologies with strong scientific foundations and global potential, typically in the range of 5–10 MSEK for the first ticket. Turbine operates independently but works closely with Sting to identify and support promising DeepTech ventures.
