Test Drive Health Tech edition will take place in April 2025
Do you have an idea and are just getting started? This is your chance to turn those whiteboard concepts into reality with Sting’s Test Drive program, starting April 2nd. In partnership with KI Innovations and the Circle of Life Science (CoLS) project, this free-of-charge program is designed to help you move from idea to impact—guided by Sweden’s leading experts within the health ecosystem.
We’re specifically looking for companies working within the 4 Ps of Health Tech:

Our Health Tech Test Drive program
What?
Three evening workshops and one pitch session run by Sting and Karolinska Institute Innovation coaches combined with individual coaching and peer support. In preparation for the workshops, you’ll receive tasks to complete and bring with you. To get the most out of the workshops—and out of respect for your peers—it’s essential that you come well-prepared and complete the assigned homework
For who?
Teams within Health Tech with a scalable, early-stage idea. We prefer mixed-gender teams of two to three people.
When?
Workshops are in-person in Stockholm and are scheduled at 16.30-20.30 for each.

When your application is submitted, our coaches will review it and decide whether to move you to the next step. Expect to hear back from us a couple of weeks after the application deadline.
If accepted onto one of our programs, you can receive 500 000 SEK investment from Propel Capital – Sting’s own investment company.
Sting offers two programs: Incubate for researchers/founders with complex technical solutions (up to 18 months), and Accelerate for startups with a launched product/solution and at least two full-time employees looking to accelerate growth (4 months).
Yes, Sting Startup Academy is 100% free and open to anyone. Right now we have limited seats though, so you may be put on a waiting list until new seats open up. In order to get accepted to any of Sting's regular programs, you have to be based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Test Drive is a series of workshops for founders with an idea or a startup that are not quite ready to apply for our official startup programs yet. Test Drive runs 1-2 times a year and is usually sector-specific. For example, the past we’ve ran test drives focused on climate and energy, deeptech, healthtech and blockchain innovations.
